Overall Objective

  • To celebrate the world’s first National Day of the Arabian Leopard on Saturday 10th of February 2024 with Catmosphere and in partnership with The Royal Commission for Allula.

How this was achieved

  • VIPS, friends of The Royal Commision of Allula, Press and Saudi International students were invited, along with their children, to a spend the day at London Zoo.

  • Guests were invited to enjoy a breakfast in The Prince Albert Suite at London Zoo, whilst they listened to short presentations from Catmosphere and Stephen Browne, VP Wildlife and Heritage at The Royal Commission for Allula.

  • They were then treated to VIP access at both the Lion and Tiger Territories, whilst listening to Zoo Keepers giving talks on both big cats, before having free time to spend exploring the Zoo at their own leisure.

Results

  • Over 100 guests attended with their children, including VIPs, Saudi Embassy staff, press, Saudi students and friends of The Royal Commission for Allula.

  • This initiative was one of many that took place around the world on Saturday 10th of February 2024.

  • More than 100,000 people in over 95 countries celebrated with Catwalk, across 5 continents to raise awareness of the critically endangered species, the smallest of all big cats - The Arabian Leopard.
